Actually, the name of the Bon Jovi song was "You Give Love A Bad Name", from the album 'Slippery When Wet'. At least, that's what the US release was called...

I had the same gripe as Secret Asian Man. But for some reason it is titled "Shot Through the Heart" on itunes.

it looks like it might have had different names in different countries. i did check the name because i wasn't sure myself, and a number of sites had it as "shot through the heart".
oh, well. sorry about that. i can't be right all the time!

I know this is like, 15 years late, but the confusion with the Bon Jovi song comes from the fact that he has a song called “Shot Through the Heart” and that that phrase is also heavily featured in “You Give Love A Bad Name” so much so that it could quite well be the title. The song in the podcast was “You Give Love a Bad Name” though, rather than “Shot Through the Heart.”
