I really enjoyed the Movie questions this week. I almost had them all but couldn't think of the Team America title though I recognized it.
One thing, there was an error in the Music section: Low Rider was performed by War, not ZZ Top.

I got a lot of the dance questions right, but I thought that "Breaking up is Hard to Do" was a bit of a stretch for the Connections question.
Also, the opening music to PodQuiz always comes through my headphones so loudly that I have to remove them. Perhaps you could Fade In or reduce the volume a bit.

OK, OK that probably was a bit of a stretch, I admit.
I like to keep the levels reasonably high on PodQuiz (you can turn the volume down, but you can't turn it up indefinitely), but you're right that the intro music is probably the loudest part of the show. I'll try knocking it down a notch or two for PodQuiz 35,

Good fun and I love the random questions! I just wish there was maybe some country music in the Connections part...I always have such a hard time because I haven't heard most of the songs. Looking forward to the next one!

I've not had much country music because I don't know it very well. I do try to pick stuff that been reasonably successful around the world (with varying degrees of success, I guess). I'll try to include some country for you soon.

I have to agree with Dan on the connection -- pulling one fairly common word out of the title of the song or name of the group to come up with a hat name is really a stretch. Several of us were listening together, and we all had a strongly negative reaction to that connection. I bet the people who got the artist correct for "Low Rider" were particularly miffed.
In spite of that, I always look forward to the new podquiz -- very well done and challenging without being overwhelmingly tough.

You're right, Dave. The hard hat link was tenous. I don't think it would have been so bad if I hadn't screwed up the ZZ Top thing, though.

To Gary & Megan, we've also started late (2020)but usually manage 2 each week, starting at #1 in 2005.
It is interesting, in 2020, to note how answers have changed - little things such as the moons of Jupiter, Saturn and even Uranus which have ALL been massively augmented since.
Jupiter is now well over 100 and Saturn not far behind.
