ach! look's like wikipedia has let me down - it doesn't happen as often as one might think, but it does happen occasionally.
what's worse, i went back to check the page on beards again, and it's subsequently been corrected (although the history of the page confirms that i didn't misread it).

Actually, did a bit more research myself. I found that during the height of the "drug culture" in the '70's. The Mormon church did put a ban on beards, that has since been lifted. So, we're both right. But currently there is no ban. Thanks again for a great show. Keep 'em coming, they're my favorite!!
